City Council budget discussions this week
Maybe I am biased because I can’t imagine being able to own a home. But to me it’s a no brainer to support services, protect public jobs, and have a rainy day fund in exchange for wealthier residents paying $11 extra a month on average.
Of course not everyone who owns a home is financially comfortable or even stable. But this still seems like the much better of two bad options. What’s your perspective?
