Hi all,
I'm a relative beginner to QGIS, but I've picked up the basics for map making already.

For this project, I'd like to have the main focus be the Pacific Ocean, but whenever I so dare to use a projection not trimmed at 180°, the layers completely forget how to exist.

in this, the red layer is supposed to be the ocean. It gets it right at the north pole, but nowhere else. I've tried the reproject tool to no avail, and that's honestly the only thing I know to try.

Any advice?

EDIT: this is ESRI:53037, it functions fine on EPSG4346, EPSG3395, and ESRI54027 to name a few.
