I am planning a solo trip to Ujjain to visit the Mahakaleshwar Temple, but I am completely unfamiliar with the local hotels and ashrams. In the past, when visiting other spiritual destinations, I've unfortunately been scammed and overcharged by auto-rickshaw drivers and hoteliers.
