Connor Storie absolutely killed it as Ilya and his work with the Russian language was incredible 💪💯. But I can't stop thinking about how the stars aligned with Hudson Williams! What were the odds of finding a half-Asian Canadian actor the right age comfortable with intimate scenes who has perfect chemistry with his co-star and fits the director's vision of Shane?? Connor was an equally insane find for Ilya, you can tell him and Hudson genuinely bring out the best in each other on screen. The chemistry between them carries the whole show and I'm still not over it.
I'm so grateful to the directors and creators for bringing this story to life the way they did. They gave us something truly special and you can tell how much love went into every detail. And of course huge thanks to Rachel Reid for writing this beautiful love story in the first place, without her none of this would exist ❤️
