Hi,

My current laptop is a 15 year old alienware 17". Love it, but really old and hard to transport. Looking for a new Windows laptop that is not too heavy, can do gaming, and looks nice/professional.

**LAPTOP QUESTIONNAIRE**

* **Total budget (in local currency) and country of purchase. Please do not use USD unless purchasing in the US:** $2,000 USD (can be more, but don't think necessary?)

* **Are you open to refurbs/used?** No

* **How would you prioritize form factor (ultrabook, 2-in-1, etc.), build quality, performance, and battery life?** build quality, display quality important

* **How important is weight and thinness to you?** Medium. Of course lighter is better, but something around 5 pounds like a MacBook pro 16" is totally good (what I'm used to from work laptop)

* **Do you have a preferred screen size? If indifferent, put N/A.** 16"

* **Are you doing any CAD/video editing/photo editing/gaming? List which programs/games you desire to run.** Gaming, nothing specific in mind, but want to be able to play newest games without lagging like crazy (okay with medium setting, not highest)

* **If you're gaming, do you have certain games you want to play? At what settings and FPS do you want?** None specifically, but want ability to play current and future new games.

* **Any specific requirements such as good keyboard, reliable build quality, touch-screen, finger-print reader, optical drive or good input devices (keyboard/touchpad)?** Want good build quality, good reliability, ideally unibody look, dedicated gpu (for gaming), high res screen. Do not care about touchscreen.

* **Leave any finishing thoughts here that you may feel are necessary and beneficial to the discussion.** I like the Dell XPS and seems it would be mostly what I want, but it doesn't have a dedicated GPU. So something like that? Have looked at Alienware Aurora 16x and Asus Zephyrus which could be an option. Looking for something around 32 GB ram and 2TB drive (but flexible).
