Hi everyone! I wanted to share a service leadership opportunity for high school and college students interested in premed, education, STEM/health outreach, and working with underserved communities.
I’m a college student helping lead a 501(c)(3) nonprofit focused on improving literacy access and promoting STEM and health education in underserved communities. Our work includes literacy events, educational workshops, hands-on activities, book/resource distribution, and mentorship opportunities for elementary and middle school students.
We’re hoping to expand by helping interested students start local chapters at their universities or high schools. Chapter leaders would help build a small team, organize service events, and eventually partner with local schools or youth programs. We would provide onboarding materials, outreach templates, activity ideas, and support, so you would not be starting from scratch.
This could be a good fit for students interested in premed, education, public health, tutoring, youth mentorship, nonprofit work, or community service.
I’m keeping the organization name and general location private in the main post for privacy reasons, but I’m happy to share more details over PM. If you’re interested, feel free to comment or message me!
