Many elements have a higher density when solid than solid iron. Within the inner core do you think there is any stratification by density with layers of elements by density forming shells with the densest radioactive elements at the very center? Or are the elements all smushed by pressure into some metallic superalloy? Do we know, for example based on particular earthquake waves, what is going on inside the inner core, or have theories and models to simulate?
