We're currently running EMS on the latest 7.2 (on Windows) and our FortiGates are on 7.4. It’s time for us to upgrade EMS. The upgrade path because EMS no longer runs on windows, we must setup and maintain a Linux server for it to run on... I think? I was holding out hope that Fortinet would drop an Azure Marketplace appliance like FAZ and FMG with an easy migration path, but it doesn't look like that's happening.

Now I’m trying to decide: is it worth the effort to migrate it over to Linux, or should we just bite the bullet and move to FortiClient Cloud? Last time I checked, the cloud-hosted licenses were pretty pricey compared to what we pay for on-prem. What have others done?
