Does anyone use a backup iPhone during weddings/events?

I’m in NH and yesterday was our first really hot day. I was working a styled shoot and we were only outside for maybe 5–10 minutes before my iPhone overheated and needed to cool down. I have an iPhone 15 Pro Max, so I honestly wasn’t expecting it to happen that quickly.

Luckily I always carry my DJI Osmo Pocket 3 with me, so I was able to keep filming. But now I’m nervous because I have a lot of outdoor weddings coming up, including one this weekend.

Do any of you carry a backup iPhone for events? Or is there anything you do to help prevent overheating?

Also curious if anyone has the newer iPhone 17 yet and if it seems to handle heat any better?

I’d love some input from other wedding/event content creators on what you’re using to deliver galleries/albums to clients!

Right now I’m using Google Drive, but I’m starting to feel like it may not be the best long-term option. The preview quality can look super rough until everything is downloaded, and once there are hundreds of photos/videos uploaded it feels kind of overwhelming and hard for clients to go through.

I talked to another creator who uses Dropbox + iCloud shared albums, but I have back-to-back weddings coming up the last 3 weekends of May, so I don’t think iCloud shared albums are going to be realistic for me long-term storage wise.

I recently came across ClipFlip, which looks a lot more visually appealing and organized like an actual digital gallery experience instead of just folders/files. Has anyone used it before? Or what platforms are you all using for delivering content?

I’m still pretty new to this side of the industry and figuring out workflows, so I’d genuinely love any advice or recommendations!
