I just moved into a new home that has ethernet ports all throughout my house. An electrician let me know they are all cat 6. I’ve posted 2 pictures. There are about 8 different ethernet cords that lead into my basement/ where my router is. None of them are tagged. I’ve done a count on the amount of ports in walls in my house and the number of cords and there are more ports in walls then loose cords. How do I get my entire house ethernet friendly? Is there an easy way to identify which cord goes to which outlet?
