How many schools?
Let me preface this by this is my 3rd year applying and I’m 28.
The first year I applied to 20ish schools. I was dumb and did my in state school and then the other 19 were other state schools out of state. Didn’t hear from any and got rejected from my instate. This last year I applied to 15 ish schools(14 private and my instate school. I interviewed and waitlisted there. This year I was just going to apply to my one in state school and call it good. I was talking to someone who is starting at that school in the next couple weeks and he warned me saying “don’t do that. Schools will see that and see that you only want that one spot so they can take their time and say ‘oh they’ll apply here next year because they’re only considering us’”
I was just curious if others had heard the same thing or if they have heard anything regarding applying to just one school.
