Would you count a breakthrough seizure towards getting your driving license back?
Basically, I'm on 400mg a day of Lamotrigine.
I'm keen to NOT have to up the dose, as my memory is basically gone, and unfortunately, I don't seem to be enjoying any mood stabilising qualities of the drug.
Worth noting that I have a very high tolerance for other drugs, like Dentist numbing agents.
So far on 400mg I've had two breakthrough absences:
- completely exhausted from 3 days of travel inc flights, trains and walking with my dog.
- missed two doses of meds.
The rest of the time, I seem to be seizure free.
Should I consider myself seizure free, or continue to up the dose at this point?
I don't want to have to take Lamotrigine to the point where there are nasty side effects, also it's more than year without driving alreaday, it's highly frustrating.
