Another hike, more than one picture

Decided on a whim to do a longer hike this eventing, with the wife and kid gone on holiday it's too quiet in the apartment, so I decided to hike to "Alta Canyon". It's a 13km hike, it seemed like a half decent idea with it raining when I started, decent rain jacket and pants makes the rain a "not issue", but luckily it stopped at around the 3km mark.

Main consern was crossing three rivers, but decent boots and a good route choice made it a cakewalk, so what turned out to be the main issue was all the mosquitoes, the arctic tundra is full of them, especially when it has been raining.

Strapped to the botton of the Kahakka is a "Jerven duk", emergency shelter if something happens, it will make sure youre not freezing to death in the winter, and it will keep you dry in the pouring rain.

Inside were a change of clothes, a bottle of water, a reinforcement jacket if needed and all the stuff I didnt want dangeling in the cargo pockets of the pants.

Third hike, this time I had my kid with me, so we decided on an easier hike. Some of you might recognise the view from another post of mine, from mich higher up, this is the shorter, less challenging hike, but still with a really nice view

Another small hike, another picture.

Kahakka not loaded heavy at all, just a rainjacket in case it started raining, some water and a sweater incase it was windy at the top.

First hike

Went to the gym to do legday, and on the way there i thought "why not go on a small hike after". Hit up a friend and off we went. The view was amazing.

Backpack wasnt loaded heavy, just some gym equipment and clothes, but it was still a good test. Super happy with the christmas gift from the wife.
