Bravia 3 ii vs Bravia 7
My choices are below:
Bravia 3 ii 75 inch from Costco with the 5 year warranty for $1000
Bravia 7 65 inch with no warranty from Amazon for $1200. I can add a 4 year warranty through amazon/asurion for $159.
I prefer costco customer service to amazon. Anyone have experience with the amazon warranty offered through Asurion?
I went to Best Buy to check out the 7 and the 3 ii but they did not have any 7s on display anymore. Only the 7 ii RGB. There was a Bravia 5 75” next to a Bravia 3 ii 65" and the 3 ii was holding its own against the 5. I even thought some scenes looked better and the 3 ii in terms of picture quality and detail.
Any input on what I should go with? Warranty is pretty important to me because I've had some bad experiences with dead pixels and other issues or TVs died after a few years.
EDIT: Usage will be mostly for streaming, sports, and 4k dvds. No gaming.
