Without spoiling much, these intros address the core principles of each season. In the first intro, it highlights the feud between Jinx and Vi, Caitlyn a brave enforcer willing to take risks, Vander a protective father, Viktor and Jayce as pioneers of research. And Silco as the “villain” these sound simple, but the body language of each character says it all about what they’re gonna achieve in season 1, I could go on for longer but I’d be here forever.
In season 2 it changes. Jinx and Vi are sitting back to back like Powder and Vi in the season 1 intro, highlighting that they are sisters once again… Caitlyn is no longer an enforcer, but a brave woman stepping into the light, ready for more responsibility. Ambessa’s calm pose highlights her character as a strong powerful woman. Everyone thinks intros are just meant to be cool which is true I guess, but Arcane not only says “well yeah ours will be cool” but will tell the story too. These are just intros by the way!
