I'm in the process of getting my health back together after a seriously godawful two years at my job (plenty of discussion on this sub recently about being in public education, and public ed has burnt through me). I did a little bit of weightlifting in undergrad, but that was a decade ago. I'm still pretty limited on what I can do physically and it changes from day to day. Are there any gyms/exercise classes in Durham/Chapel Hill that would be supportive to someone who is starting at square one? I walk a ton and have to move heavy objects at work, but I'm not sure how to keep improving when I don't work there anymore. I know this is kind of a shot in the dark, but thank you all for any information you can provide.
