Did my tree die? Or is it dormant?
I searched up this tree and I think it’s a Chinese Pistache. It typically goes dormant in the winter after all its leaves turn red and fall. I realized it’s already May and it hasn’t bounced back. :( I scratched its’ bark today and noticed a little green but some of the smaller branches are dry when I tried breaking them. Idk what could possibly be wrong. The irrigation has been working fine. Am I freaking out for no reason? Could it still dormant?
