The CDC stress
In short, we got a lotta people sitting for CDC internships this time, we got lesser companies and everybody who's not a female and are from non-circuital departments are just pre-screwed in general if they're going for SD/Data and that's exactly where I stand.
I am trying to work my ass off building a decent and legit portfolio for CDC internships but I fear it's all for nothing.
I have convinced myself that if I try a bit, I can land an internship off-campus and with a stipend fairly on par with the median offer from CDC internships but there's this fear in my head of me not standing out among my peers/batchmates in college.
If someone has been through the same thing as me, can you share some of your experience and insight on this situation?
