Can I say clothes as close??

I was watching a english movie to improve my language and I heard the word close and I thought the word close is not matching the situation and I replayed it and again I heard same finally I put on the subtitles then I understood it’s not close its clothes🙆🏻‍♀️

whether native speakers pronounce the ‘th’ in clothes or will it disappear in normal conversation??

Whether these words sounds different for native speakers 🤔

I was practising my English pronunciation and seen some words that I tried listening to google translate some of them sounds same for me

.sheet/shit .full/fool

.beach/bitch. .bad/bed

.women/woman

Now I am thinking that small pronunciation mistake can completely change what I am trying to say

which pair is the hardest for English learners? is the difference obvious to you?? Whether anyone heard someone pronounce these words incorrectly And change the meaning to funny??

Also where are you from ?? I am curious whether these words sounds different across accents !

Are there english words that can’t be translated?

I noticed something new to me about the Finnish word “sisu.” It explains a feeling that’s difficult to express with just one English word. Wow right?

It makes me to think whether english have any words that are difficult to translate into other languages?

It would be fun to know lol.

How do you say you already did something?

I’m learning for toefl and I was always taught to say “I have already done it” or “I’ve already done it.” But I hear native speakers(mostly from youtube) say things like “I already did it” all the time, even when they’re talking about something that just happened.

At first I thought it was just casual, but I saw it in writing too.

So now I’m worried, is “I already did it” considered completely normal English, or is “I’ve already done it” more grammatically correct version?
