Choosing an area for mid-20s transplant
Hi everyone! I currently live in a NH town with my girlfriend, we are mid 20s, 1-2 years out of school. I work remote, she's in-person (and will be looking for a new job in Boston). We moved to NH about a year ago and are struggling socially so we want to move into the city. I've been doing a lot of research but I'd love some opinions from locals.
We want somewhere that's walkable, close to the T, plenty of local cafes/restaurants/shops nearby, a good sense of community, easy to meet people our age, nice parks/3rd places.
Right now, our top 3 contenders are Davis Square, Union Square, Jeffries Point (eastie).
Open to any opinions or suggestions! Thanks!
