I love these books! I have listened to the audio book of Metro 2033 so many times now cause I absolutely love these books and how they did it with the voices and the extra sounds here and there enhancing vibe while not over doing it. When listening to it I often feel like I am in the dark metro tunnels with Artyom trying not to make noise stepping on some broken glass, while clutching onto my whooped out Kalashnikov for dear life. I have listened to it so many times while driving around. I often catch myself holding my breath in certain parts trying not to make noise cause I am so invested.
This series is probably my favorite book series. So I bought hard copies of the books to put on my shelves. I really wish the rest of them were officially translated SO badly.
HOWEVER!!! I have one huge bone to pick with whoever did the layout of my copy of 2033. Like WTF!?! Two inch margins on the top and bottom, with an inch and a half on the sides? It gives me a headache trying to read that small. The font is SO small its crazy. Why? The two books 2034 and 2035 are perfectly fine. Who does this!? Any of you have this same issue or is it just me?
