Trying to create a website to make it easier for people to plan their weekly cooking to eat for less and in a healthier way

I'm on a mission to make it much simpler for people to eat cheaper and cleaner for a very selfish reason: I'd love to see my loved ones live longer.

I'm a firm believer that people mainly eat unhealthily because it's cheaper and easier. We all feel like crap when we do it, so the problem to solve seems to be how do we make it easier to eat healthy and cheaper?

I'm in the very beta stages of a website to help do this. https://www.diningholl.com/

I would love feedback to help make this as helpful as possible.

What it currently does:

  • Asks for your current kitchen equipment set up
  • Asks for how many people you're cooking
  • If you'd like, asks for your weekly budget
  • Also if you'd like, asks for time constraints per meal

From this, it generates a weekly plan of meals and an editable grocery list. It also has all the recipes in house, that you can send to yourself via email, to make it easier to track.

It currently only has dinner recipes, but am working on expanding. Any recipes you think would work well here?

Also all groceries are priced off of Trader Joe's prices where I know them, or estimated otherwise. Similarly, all recipes are ones I've made with TJ's, but are easily generalizable.

Long story short, I'm embarking on this project for very selfish reasons but hope to solve a much larger problem. This website will exist whether my family is the only user, or there are millions of people.

I hope this can be in any way helpful to you, and if any changes would make it more helpful if you do decide to use it, please do let me know either on here, or through the Contact Us part of the website!
