This tree was a volunteer that popped up ~15 years ago in my parents yard. We had a very early, hard freeze several years ago (like 80° one day, 20° the next) that killed a lot of it. The following summer it had hardly any leaves, and now most of the green is from suckers. I'm planning on just taking it down, but my parents would love to save it if possible.

Location is Central WA.
