I’ve been applying to jobs again recently (in Switzerland), and I’m realizing how messy the whole process gets really fast…

  • different platforms (LinkedIn, jobs.ch, company websites)
  • forgetting where I already applied 😅
  • no clear overview of follow-ups, rejections, etc.

I tried using an Excel sheet, but honestly… I stopped updating it after a few days.

So I’m curious:

How do you guys handle this?
Do you use any tools or just keep it in your head?

We’ve actually been building a small side project to solve exactly this problem (basically keeping track of applications + helping with writing them), but now I’m wondering if we’re overcomplicating things.

Would really appreciate hearing how others are dealing with this
