Basically I have been really interested in learning to make beats/ music and have been really inspired by artists like Malcom Todd and Steve lacy. However I have no music knowledge or any musical theory and don’t know where to start.
I was also thinking of maybe grabbing a midi keyboard, or digital piano but don’t know which is better for my situation. Like I want to make beats but don’t know how to play the piano, would I have to learn properly how to play the piano to start? Any help or advice would be super helpful
