This festival sounds like my jam. But is it intolerably hot and humid?

TBH, we live in Washington DC, and it can be pretty intolerable up here on August 1!

I’ve been loyal to Thomastik-Infeld JF365 Jazz Flat Wounds for many years. I love them. I went from 4 to 5 string, paying more for the strings. Then went to a Schecter extra long scale, paying still more for them.

Now they’re $183!

I'm thinking of trying D'Addario XL Chromes Flatwound Bass Guitar Strings -.045-.132 Regular Light, Super Long Scale, 5-string
(https://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/ECB815SL). I imagine they'll be brighter, maybe not in a good way (for me)

Luckily I only change strings around once a year.
