[DiComo] Nick Morabito will wear uniform No. 8 for the Mets. That number had been frozen since 2001 as an unofficial way to honor Gary Carter, who wore it from 1985-89. But it was never retired. Desi Relaford last wore the number in 2001, a quarter century ago.
