A portion of my liner suffered a puncture this winter. I would like to repair it.
I know they sell kits but I was curious if a section of liner and plumbing pvc liner glue would be suitable as a patch.

I need some work done on several pieces of footwear. The biggest job is resole and add a midsole to a pair of Iron Rangers. Then some other patching, sole gluing, and dying.
I don't care for the cobbler at Bruce and 4th. I wasn't happy with his previous work quality (glued mini lug soles on my Iron Rangers and they wore smooth in 4 months!). I'll use him for some stuff but not these jobs.
I've heard the cobblers in Parksville and in Duncan are good. It's one better than the other? Personal recommendation and anecdotal feedback is appreciated.
