Raising built in cabinets
We are doing a moderate kitchen remodel and our upper cabinets appear to be built on site rather than hung on the wall. Has anyone had experience with this if trying to raise them? Could be the difference between simply raising existing cabinets and having to replace uppers altogether according to our contractor. He is coming out Tuesday to take a look and assess. Our house is really old and the clearance underneath is really short, around 13 inches. Nothing fits under there (coffee maker etc).
