We plan to replace a SAP BW BI solution with Power BI. One feature of SAP BW are selectable hierarchies. What do I mean by that? Imagine you can assign workers to work places and each worker has a anual turnover. During the year workers get re-assigned to different work places (the hierarchy changes).
Hierarchy is an object in SAP you can maintain and select in BW analysis. Using a dropdown to select the hierarchy, the sum of anual turnover aggregated at the work place level changes.
What comparable functionality would Power BI provide?
