Background: M/57/T2 diagnosed Jan 2014

Photo info: Time in Range augmented to 3.9-8.0 mmol/l

Current A1C via blood work is 6.6

Now that that is out of the way, I felt I was doing great on my numbers. However my PCP stated the my Standard Deviation and Coefficient of Variance need to improve

Can someone explain what these targets should be please? Trying not to feel deflated but I honestly thought the time in range was the most important.
