Is this what I think it is?
Bought some garden soil last month and had this stalk pop up seemingly overnight next to my tomato plant. I’ve followed this sub too long and am now terrified this Japanese knotweed? If so, I read some post talking about herbicide treatment in the fall, but since I put cardboard on the ground and then layered the soil on top of it, can I just pull it and maybe remove surrounding soil? Any help is appreciated!
