AU Concept: Storyswapworld Yellow
CW: Mixing up AUs that shouldn't be combined all at once, Blood, Body Horror, Author's choice of pronouns that are simplified for personal convience
Disclamer: This is an AU concept that originated from a nightmare, general curiosity and wild imaginations that went too far. This AU concept is purely for fun (and Cocoapowder shipping) that should not be taken seriously. I didn't keep up with the most recent versions of SSW and UW when I was drafting the AU, so I might unintetionally base some of the elements out of my own intepreations / memories. The "Yellow" in the title means Clover is present, it‘s still Storyswap's Ruins - Hotland route instead of UTY's Dark Ruins - Steamworks route.
I personally short Storyswap into "SSW" and Underworld into "UW", so I call this AU "SSWWY" in short.
If you find anything I misintepreted about the orignal AUs, it's 85% because I remembered it wrong, not intentional.
The images you're seeing are from a friend of mine who didn't seen much Storyswap and Underworld content, she is also not a native English speaker.

What if: The Storyswap cast got the Underworld treatment? (plus Clover swapping with / replacing Metta cuz this AU is made for Cocoapowder)
Differences from Storyswap (or my intepretation of it) storywise:
-The monsters are Underworld-like (creepy, scary-looking) from the start, there's no "Chara/Frisk corrupting the game files". In fact, meta elements (including Save/Load) doesn't exist in this AU at all.
-Most of what happened to the Underworld cast appearence wise gets pasted to the Storyswap cast (eg: UW Sans is bulkier and has a large jaw, SSWWY is bulkier and has a big jaw too).
-The monsters' personalites are unchanged, despite their creepier appearences. Most of them are still friendly.
-The majority of the monsters doesn't have a strong urge to return to the Surface. King Papyrus didn't declare a second war against humans and allowed friendly humans to live Underground, he also doesn't wear the human SOULs as acessoriers unlike UW Asgore.
-None of the SOULs were innocently murdered, most died from environmental causes, some unfriendly ones died from monsters' self defence.
-Metta is the seventh fallen human and the sixth SOUL to be collected (and they're not the focus of this AU R.I.P), Chara (determination) is the eighth fallen human, Clover (justice) is the nineth fallen human.
-During the main story, Chara is 16, Clover is 16, Asriel is 18.
-Chara is she/her and Clover is he/him.
-Chara fell down Mt.Ebott at the age of 9... Though she wandered off to play near Mt.Ebott, accidentally witnessed a drug dealing scene, then brutally murdered by the drug dealers. The drug dealers decapiated Chara and chopped off her arms, then dumped Chara's remains to dispose of the evidence. Chara became missing ever since.
-Due to the magical force field of the Barrier and wielding a determination SOUL, Chara barely survived the mutilation and fall, with the price of using up nearly all of her determination, SOUL severly damaged, and head and arms splattered from the fall and completely unusable.
-Asriel was the first monster to discover the broken Chara, took her to the adults who eventually used magic to heal and save Chara. Chara is headless and handless ever since. Black liquid constantly leaks from Chara's neck and arm stumps.
-With Chara's SOUL drained up of its power and Papyrus' kindness, Chara gets to stay Underground and adopt by the Dreemurs. Unfortunately, the Royal Scientist Toriel became an amalgamate from one of her previous experiments and lost the ability to build robotic head / arms for Chara. So all Chara gets is Asriel's rainbow scarf that are now her only "arms". In her headless state, she is also blind, mute, unable to eat and incapable of any form of combat (unless you count throwing weak and aimless scarf punches).
-Clover still jumps down Mt.Ebott to find the missing children, but unlucky for him (to be the counterpart of UW Frisk who broke an arm from the fall), he landed head-first, broke his neck and died instantly.
-Temmie, out of actual sympathy (Save/Load doesn't exist), stuffed Clover's SOUL back into his head and shared some of their determination with Clover, reviving him as a disembodied head. Temmie also taught Clover how to use his hair as tentacles to grab object, drag himself around (walk replacement) and roll around (run replacement). After half sewing his cowboy hat on his head with his hair so it won't fall off, storing his toy gun and items in his hat, Clover then proceeds the Storyswap Pacifist route to search for the missing children... as a rolling head.

Clover eventually encounters Asriel outside the Snowdin gate, who joyfulling snatched the human head (Clover) from the ground and rushed across the room to jam the new head on her sister's (Chara's) body. Making the body whole(ish), Chara able to see and talk again (and Clover able to walk again but Asriel currently doesn't care about Clover).
Being the nice and weak one, Chara fills Clover up with information about herself and Rei, her family, the Underground, the king, and the other fallen humans. With Chara being the only missing children who is alive(ish), Clover accepts his role as being Chara's head but Chara insists to share the control between them.
Welp, Clover's mission is technically finished, no need to venture the Underground alone to seek justice for the dead children since the monsters/king isn't for blame in this AU, and even if Clover proceeds the route, Asriel would company him and Chara to ensure Chara's safety, and the caretaker of Waterfall and Hotland are Chara and Asriel's parents. It's fun with the Dreemur family from now on
Note: Clover isn't adopted by the Dreemurs. Cocoapowder isn't incest.
The story eventually lean towards actually romantic Cocoapowder, but it's way too wild for this post so ima keep my mouth and dirty brain shut for now💀I'm posting mainly to show my friend's artwork instead of my thoughts. Peace.
