Just bought this Ellis Suit from Spier and Mackay in 44R. I was planning on taking it to a tailor, but before I do I was seeking opinions on if it might make sense to return it and order a 42R instead. The jacket seems like it might be a little big on me, but maybe that’s just the sleeves, since I haven’t had it tailored yet.

I have not opened the back vent because I’m considering returning it.

I am typically planning on wearing it with a tie, if that makes a difference.
