These days, do any aftermarket buyers care a lot for the boxes to pay even a little more for opened figures. OR is the figure's condition and completeness matter the most? As you can see rooms be filling up... most Neca boxes don't even hold things tightly because the little ties keeping them locked in. Google says 20%-30% more value. Been trying to decide for awhile now. Thanks, always a great community here.
Target, Concord, Ca - $34.99 10 minutes ago, didn't think was getting this one, sold out everywhere, 4 left, says "out of stock" at price check. At your Targets check the adult collectibles section, by the Funkos and NECA, my guess label says "14+"
Hello, first post, been a lurker and commenter for awhile, but never posted...
I "edit" capes and hard plastic skirts and the like alot, but slowly, and fearfully, to improve movement and posability and sometimes looks. (Like Destiny over-priced 2pk, her very restrictive cape cut in 2 places to improvement arm movement and sometimes further edits are required when the first one doesn't work, makes me happier with the figures, but also kills their value)
To me the Diamond form Emma Frost like her abilities is an action star. I picture some mental power entering the fray ro mess with her mind and Emma turning Diamond and throwing off her cape and start to smash faces.
On this figure I saw a lot of customs and ideas, that all seemed to involve filling the holes in the chest from the glued cape. So I began to wonder a while back, what if I cut around that part and hope for the best. Finally did it and here are the results (Destiny example at the end)
