What would happen if a team lost on purpose to change an outcome

I don't mean just playing the kids and they lose in a normal manner.

I mean take for example the situation in the league right now...

You have Everton playing Spurs and West Ham playing Leeds, with one of Spurs or West Ham going down.

So say for example if Everton were winning 3-0 against Spurs and Leeds were beating West Ham 1-0, 10 minutes left in both games. This would mean West Ham are due to get relegated.

What would happen if Leeds heard about the current score in the Spurs Everton game, and said "hey, we want to relegate Spurs". They then go and score 2 blatant own goals which are clearly on purpose, a pass back to the GK who walks it into his own net, twice.

The results hold and this relegates Spurs.

My question is, what happens in that scenario...

Own goals are legal, and the ref can't stop them from doing it. But would the premier league step in and say that this is match fixing in a way? Like what are the rules around this?
