Hey everyone,

I'm looking to expand my reading skills and am looking for Chinese books/authors that you think give insight into Chinese life, way of thinking, humor, relationships, family structure, social expectations, etc.

It doesn't need to be "literature" or anything like that - just anything that genuinely helped you understand China or Chinese-speaking culture more deeply.

Also feel free to list any other Chinese authors/books you really enjoyed in general. Thanks!
