Yellow Line Extension floated by new Skokie mayor

As a fan of the Yellow Line, I would be very happy to see this go through. Unfortunately, I think it will take a very long time to complete/see through. Old Orchard will be a good start to a Yellow line extension. Hopefully it will get extended past Skokie and follow the former North Shore Line ROW to at least the Lake County line. This will bring clean electric rail service past the Dempster-Skokie station for the first time since Jan 21 1963.
I also think that they should put an infill station at Asbury or Ridge Ave in Evanston, as there is high density housing stock there. Hopefully that is brought up should this move forward.
