Looking to replace my broken Sony XM5s. Up to 350$
So I'm completely done with Sony's XM line. This is the third time they've broken in about the same way and I want something more durable but still having good quality.
I mostly just use this set in the office to listen while I work. I need minimal sound bleed (don't want to disturb others) and i do not need noise canceling (honestly, I would prefer not to have it).
I listen to things on my phone so they need to be Bluetooth compatible. Being able to connect to two devices would be very nice (the xm5s could connect to both my phone and computer at home, which was a nice feature). I listen to mostly metal, rock and so on, and I would prefer a balanced EQ. They don't need to be super loud, I listen pretty quietly.
Battery life would preferably be on the longer side, the xm5s were great at that at least. Usb c charging would be best.
A great plus would be a 3.5mm jack option - that way i could connect to my electronic drum kit.
I want to stay with a pair of over the head headphones since earbuds usually hurt after a while.
Tldr:
XM5s broke. Sick of that.
Durable.
Bluetooth.
Little to no sound bleed outward.
No noise cancel needed.
Balanced EQ for rock and metal.
USB c chargeable.
Would like 3.5mm jack, but not required.
Prefer to stay with headphones, earbuds hurt.
