I mocked up a concept for automatically organizing chaotic smart home networks — would this actually be useful?

After reading through all the replies on my earlier thread, I realized the hardest part usually isn’t identifying what a device is…

It’s figuring out WHICH physical device it actually is once you’ve got:

multiple smart plugs
renamed devices
new routers
moved homes
random old entries

So I mocked up a simple concept for:

detecting devices
suggesting names
syncing labels
helping rebuild device maps after router changes

The idea wouldn’t be to fully automate everything blindly — more like reducing the cleanup work while still keeping the user in control.

Curious if this actually feels useful or if most people would still rather handle it manually.
