For now, I am playing to reach 100% on the databank. Yesterday I was using the Stalwart Shotgun and faced Rhabdom. Suddenly I realized this curious behavior from the boss when I shot it using the Alt-Fire. It looks like he got staggered, maybe from the floating bullets generated by this shotgun in this kind of firing.

I was amazed by that and decided to share this tip. Did it also happen to you while fighting Rhabdom? Or any other boss? What do you think about this tactic, is it a fair way of beating this boss or something the devs should fix?

This is the only time this bug has happened to me. I've seen it happen to a few people here, and I read an argument saying it's not a bug, but rather that the player didn't pay attention to the life crystal before entering and could had have broken it.

That's not true, because in my run, I entered the cave from one side, the door locked immediately, and the crystal was on the opposite exit. I even tried to kill the boss with a single hit using the L3 + R3 special after that, but I couldn't.
