Title - is it possible to merge two clips? Or at least any way to copy the contents from a particular measure of one clip, and paste into another clip? Can't seem to figure this out.

Long story short, we've been dealing with crafty rodent squatters lately. Recently moved the couches to reveal a museum collection's worth of droppings (feces) hidden underneath.
Normally cleaning shit up is no issue, but I've been shit scared to do so here (pun intended) cause of the toxicity and risk of Hantavirus.
I talked to a guy from the pest control agency we are working with - he claimed that the virus isn't really carried by local rodents. Don't disbelieve him, but the risk feels too great to overlook. Anyone else had to deal with this kind of shit? Open to thoughts and suggestions.
