Sorry for the long ahh text
First off, I'm not a collector or anything, so my knowledge of fragrances is practically nonexistent. I've only been drawn to those that I like because they smell good to me, that's all. I've mainly noticed that I like fragrances with specific notes, like a strong citrus scent or vanilla—almost pure vanilla—or if they have a woody scent, almost pure wood, and so on. I wanted to ask about the perfume I bought, Oud for Greatness Neo. I live in a semi-desert city, with summer temperatures reaching up to 40 degrees Celsius (though it's very rare for it to get that high) and winter temperatures dropping to 3-8 degrees Celsius. I wanted Oud for Greatness Neo for everyday use in high school. Since I know it's a very strong perfume, I wanted your recommendation on how many sprays I should apply, or how many times I should apply it to my body so that it doesn't smell too strong or overpowering. Also, do you think it was a good purchase as my first perfume? Seeing it from the perspective of someone who wears it casually but wants to treat themselves to a niche perfume: Below is the story of how I decided on this perfume: I finally bought my first perfume, it's Oud for Greatness Neo. Here's the story: I first saw the original OfG in a video, and the bottle caught my eye. When I traveled to Mexico City, I looked for a store with a niche perfume section, and I found it. I liked the smell, but I didn't buy it. Originally, I was torn between three perfumes: LV Fantasmagory, Memo Winter Palace, or OfG. Today I finally decided to buy one, but I went to a different branch than the one I'd been to before, and this one didn't have an LV store, so I couldn't get Fantasmagory. And in the niche section, they didn't have Winter Palace, but they did have OfG, both the regular and the Neo. I tried several other niche perfumes to see if another one would appeal to me, but no, those three have something that draws me in. So I tried OfG. I tried the regular one, and I asked my mom what she thought, and she said she didn't like it, that it smelled like after cleaning with a rag. I asked a random employee at the store, and he didn't like it either. Then I tried the OfG Neo, and my mom liked that one. Since it smelled similar to the regular one but was greener and more usable, I ended up buying it. They also gave me a decant of the Initio Paragon and the regular OfG.
