Looking to upgrade my fishing setup and wondering what bait boats people are actually using at the moment.
I’ve always just done everything the standard way, but I’m thinking of getting a bait boat this time for a bit more accuracy and convenience, especially on bigger waters. Are the better models actually worth it in terms of range, reliability, GPS features and battery life?
Been looking at a couple and the Deeper Quest Bait Boat caught my eye. Seems like a pretty serious bit of kit, especially with the app control and mapping side of things. Also saw the Ripton CatchX Mini, which looks a bit more compact and maybe easier to justify for regular sessions rather than going all-in on a massive setup.
Saw both here, and noticed Very are doing 20% off first orders, which makes them a bit more tempting, but I’m not sure if anyone’s tried either or if there are better alternatives around the same price? https://www.very.co.uk/search/scolia

Mainly just want something that’s reliable, easy to use, has decent range, and won’t let me down mid-session. What’s everyone recommending these days?
