I need some help because I don’t really know what I’m doing to be completely honest. My girlfriend lives in São Paulo and I live in the U.S. We want to start the process to get married in Brazil but I am too busy with work to travel right now and if I do travel it could only be for a few days.

She has proposed to me that we use a service online (Meu Cartorio Digital) but the price for the full service seems pretty high to me. They’re asking for about $R9,000 for everything and I don’t know if that’s a normal price or if there is a better option for us to use that wouldn’t be so expensive.

Does anyone have experience with doing this or another method that we could use to get married that is officially recognized in Brazil?
