This is just excess carbon material, correct?

Right mount rail under the tip a little bit of what looks like excess materials on the top or maybe some drip off the adhesive from putting the top on it right?

Never owned full carbon before so just making sure this isn’t a crack it’s brand new just put it on the bike.

Man, bike tires direct has like.......REALLY good deals

NOT AN AD: I was super suspicious at first, but they are super legit. Just crazy good deals. (this is not an ad) but I just got some Schwalbe tires that are usually like $92 a piece for almost $30 off per tire. Crazy deal.

2021 Model 3 looks like there’s a cutout where a hitch could go, is that right?

Looking to get a bike rack, please let me know if I can put a hitch there and what hitches bike racks you guys are using!

Can someone cut through the “zone 2 bro science” stuff and tell me if I need to learn about all the “bike stuff” like power and watts and stuff to just get in better cardiovascular health?

I don’t understand all the bike talk yet, but want to ride to get in better cardiovascular health.

Right now I’m riding ten miles segments. I’m tracking biometrics with my phone/airpods. So heart info, distance, etc. I don’t understand the zone stuff, so is riding ten miles segments while moderately winded, and then taking lots of rest, hydration, and electrolytes afterwords a good starting point?

I’ve read that cycling can actually hurt your heart health if you don’t recover enough and I don’t have any bike friends yet so anything helps. Just been getting on the bike and riding. I hope I don’t need to track macros and stuff

Anyone know where to find a Contact D Fuse SLR seat post? They are elusive

Hoping someone either has one for sale or knows where to get one for my Revolt Advanced 2!

Sit bones are 135mm, bike shop said I would need 155 saddle, does that sound right? A lot of the big names don’t even have those.

The bike fit gave me only two options to try, both Fizik, one was 155 (Aliante) and wasn’t uncomfortable but that’s sample size is tiny and not sure if something else would be more comfy. I drove two hours to get this fit so I guess I just “buy and try” from dealers with good return policies?

Is there like a “system” to base saddle size off of sit bones and if so, how much larger than the bone measurement should they be?

This is for gravel riding, not road or racing.

Also, because I’m not years experienced yet I’m not sure if I’m going for “comfortable” or just “not uncomfortable “. I realize there’s going to be some level of discomfort riding a bike

Buying a new saddle that’s 7x9 instead of 7x7. Revolt Advanced 2 (2021) since it appears the clamp is top/bottom will the stock clamp work for the 7x9 carbon rails?

If I need some other hardware could you please leave me links to that specific hardware? I’ve heard if the clamp is top/bottom it will work but I’m happy to buy a compatible clamp.

Help! People with 2021 (pre flip chip) Revolt Advanced 2 what is the largest tire you’ve fit on the bike with wheels with 25-27mm internal width??? I need help before buying new wheels/tires

I’m looking to purchase Reserve 25GR, 30GR, or 40|44GR which span 25-27mm internal width and some Schwalbe G-One RX Pro tires at 700x45c size. I’m really hoping this works! But have no idea because all tires are all different now on different wheels.

The “guide” says 45c max tires, but I assume there’s some leeway with that being a factory conservative estimate. And I’m not sure how that takes into account wheel width either 😬. I think wider wheel inners make for wider tires externally and I’m having a hard time getting definitive info about this combo. I DO NOT have the flip chip so my bike doesn’t go up to 53 like the 2022 forward does. (Sucks)

The price on the Aluminum is so right and the carbon are a pretty penny more than that. I have a Giant Revolt Advanced 2 and am looking at my first real wheel upgrade. Love the bike, been riding around4 years now off and on. Is a small weight difference the only difference ?

I'm looking to get my first upgraded wheels for my 2021 Giant Revolt Advanced 2 and going to upgrade to carbon, but not sure on which depth to go with. The 25GR can handle anything, but are only 25mm wide inside and I want to run 45c tires and I'm afraid there might be some slight "bulbing" at only 25. The 44|40 are 27.5mm across so at least a little wider, but are also deeper "aero" style for gravel, which if I ONLY rode gravel I would likely not care about, but I also ride on pavement quite a bit, so I suppose those a great compromise wheel.

Anyone ridden or own any of the Reserve wheels made by Santa Cruz? What are your favorite gravel carbon wheels I'd love to hear your use case on width, depth, tire size, wheel brand and what you love and don't love that you've experienced to help me with my purchase. I'm thinking for my use case I want 45c tires, and at least 27mm internal width to avoid bulbing. Depth i'm on the fence about. I dont need super "race oriented" deep wheels but the 44|40 seem like a good compromise of both.

I ride fire roads, chunky gravel around the rivers, pavement, and hiking trails sometimes, nothing too gnarly. My budget is $2k and below. Ideally around $1500

Thanks in advance!
