Hi, just following up on my 21 month old starting Montessori. We’re on week 2, and it’s been HARD. Still crying and lots of separation issues. I went up there today during their outside time & she was crying and pacing back and forth. No interaction with children NOTHING. Guides not comforting her at all. I really want her to at least finish this month out, but now I’m thinking I’ve started her too soon. I went on and picked her up today because it tore me to pieces. Wondering if I should just pull her. Would love some advice.

Hi, my 21 month old daughter first day of Montessori school is tomorrow. She’s been at home since she was born. She’s a very Velcro child as well. She does have an expressive speech delay (she’s in speech therapy), a bit shy but very smart girl. I’m hoping this is a good decision for her. I’m hoping she’ll come out her shell with being around other children. Any advice? Have any other mommies went through this? How was it for you?
