Hose routing question

I have been using the P30i because I really like the top of head mount. I just recently got a F/P Brevida for a very good price .

My question is the Brevida is much more comfortable and the air diffuser works nicely. Is there any trick to dealing with the hose ? I have it over my head and behind me on the wall if that makes sense ? I tend to sleep on both sides . I’d like to use the Brevida .

Sort of a newbie mask for question

So I am using the P30i by ResMed and I like it a lot. Because I am having early success with CPAP I want to find a backup for when I have a cold or bad congestion. I have tried the X30i and the F30i along with a few off brand full over the nose masks.

My question is when I run mask fit I can feel really slight leaks usually at the bottom of the masks. If they don’t bother me is that acceptable? The only way I ever get a fit that will pass mask fit is sitting up with the mask cranked down.

I have the p30i and I have been using a large pillow . My leak numbers are ok but when I lay on my side I sometimes feel like it is leaking towards my eye. This is the fit of the medium . Is that to deep in my nose ?

I’m on week two so my numbers are doing well … leaks ,ahi, usage ….

I am still not feeling rested even though I know it’s coming.

My question… is a one hour pap nap a decent idea or should I power through the day in hopes of being more tired at night?

Thanks in advance

So for someone starting out who has been hyper focused on succeeding I thought I would share my thoughts on masks .

I found out I was a mouth breather. I’ve been working hard on that and I found a chinstrap is a good fit and gives me a lot more freedom in mask choices.

I started with an F20 and didn’t like the way it covered my nose. Since I wasn’t proficient at nasal breathing it was not my favorite.

I decided to switch to a full face mask. I bought an off brand and didn’t care for having my nose and mouth covered also had issues with short beard getting a great seal.

Now to an off brand nasal pillow. Really liked it . Easy to seal and comfortable. When I slept on my side I didn’t like the venting or fighting the hose.

Now the breakthrough P30i. Super way to seal. Soft and comfortable. Not having a hose hanging off the nose made life so much better for me . The vent is more out the top and since the hose isn’t connected the pillows don’t move . For me this is the best for me . You do hear a little breath in the side tubes but for me , I use white noise or a fan so it’s actually relaxing to me.

That’s my story and I hope it helps someone !!
