So we moved into this house a little over a year ago. I thought this was just a bush that flowered in the spring but then there were a couple of fruit last fall. After some investigation it appears to be quince. So I'm now looking forward to increasing the harvest with a bit of a pruning and fertilizer over the last winter and it was absolutely loaded with blooms this spring. Now I take a look and the fruit all have the little orange "tags" on them. And they are all oblong shaped fruit as well. I don't remember them looking like this last year, what kind of pest or disease am I dealing with and how to I eradicate it?
