My original seat of choice (GT Omega CHASE V2) is out of stock for a month, so I’m looking at alternative bucket seats for my rig and wanted some options…
Current options I’m considering:
1 - BB XL Suede – £237.96
2 - Sparco Sprint L FIA Bucket – £284.40
3- OMP TRS-X Steel Frame Bucket – £264
4- Auto Style Type BS6 – £298.80
5- Auto Style Type BS1 Fabric – £324.00
6”6’ so sizing is pretty important - in a sitting position my head height is at around 95cm so on the headrest at about 90-93cm, and 33” waist so these L/XL seats seem like they would provide enough comfort without being overly restrictive
Playing mostly iRacing (GT3 + some F3)
Running a GT Omega PRIME aluminium rig - mounting wise some of these seats come with rails and others without, can I mount both options without buying any extras??
Price comparison vs original CHASE seat (£286.41):
BB XL Suede → £48.45 cheaper
OMP TRS-X → £22.41 cheaper
Sparco Sprint L → £2.01 cheaper
Auto Style BS6 → £12.39 more expensive
Auto Style BS1 → £37.59 more expensive
Mainly thinking it’s between BB XL Suede vs Sparco Sprint L at the moment, BB XL for price if they’re both pretty similar although not as many reviews of the BB XL so unsure of quality etc.
